As early as 1972, Mr. Nazarov's work was being exhibited locally and throughout the Soviet Union. In 1975 he received his Master of Arts degree. The world-famous Russian art gallery/museum, Tretyekovsky in Moscow, purchased his watercolor "March" in 1984. During the breakup of the Soviet Union, Sasha became a member of the Realist Art Cooperative and joined People to People International in 1992. Immediately he received international recognition through exhibitions in the United States (Lancaster, Penn and Wilmington, Delaware in 1992 & 1993; Wenatchee, Washington in 2001), Germany (Trier - 1997; Gelnhausen - 1999), and Japan (Gifu, Takatomi, and Kakamigahara in 1998). He visited Wenatchee, Washington, honored as a  People to People International Artistic Ambassador and returned by invitation to Japan (with his wife, Josephina Varela Fernandez and The Troitsk Chamber Choir) by People to People International Gifu Chapter.

2002 was very busy as is the beginning of 2003 with an exhibition.
