   People to People International staff has taken over the Artistic Ambassador program as of 2002 and the link to this site has been removed. This is now an archive and tribute to its former Chairman of the People to People International Artistic Ambassador, Louise Ryan (Jo) Hopkins.

   The People to People International Artistic Ambassador Program was designed for artists (as individuals or groups) to travel and perform or display their work. Sometimes artists who are chosen by People to People International to serve as People to People International Artistic Ambassadors travel to countries where there are active Chapters. These artists foster goodwill and appreciation of the arts through each chapter’s specially designed programs which might include one-person shows, concerts and master classes. This program continues to be a strong vehicle of communication with a commitment of service at the community level to all those individuals who are concerned with building international friendship and understanding.

   The Artistic Ambassador Program of People to People International supports the broad goal of bringing people together to develop friendships and understanding through communication in the arts. This program is dedicated to fulfilling the objectives of People to People International’s founders to keep constantly abreast of the times and the needs of its members.

Louise Ryan “Jo” Hopkins is past Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Artistic Ambassador Program. She currently serves as a member of People to People International’s Advisory Board, Advisor to the Artistic Ambassador Committee, Chairman of the Southeast Council and Vice President of the Greater Palm Beach Chapter.
