Academic Musical Ensemble of the Silesian Technical University (AZM), Gliwice, Poland with conductor Krystyna Krzyzanovska-Loboda. The AZM, consisting of the choir (above) and a small chamber orchestra, has been closely connected to People to People since its charter in 1996. In early 1997 the ensemble performed for PTP Germany in Berlin. The largest PTP-oriented project, PTP Polish-Estonian Academy of Music took place in the summer of 1997 with musical workshops and a series of concerts in Poland, Estonia and Finland with the Narva Symphony Orchestra - the main theme, Faure's Requiem.

Two years later, in May 1999 the AZM organized IInd edition of Polish-Estonian Anademy of Music PTP. This event took place in Berlin during the European PTP Conference and the workshop piece was Berliner Messe composed by Estonian composer living in Berlin.

The members of the orchestra are students and graduates of the University. Their repertoire varies from acappella pieces of Gregorian Chants, contemporary Polish music, choral vocal jazz and pop arrangements to works of Telemann, Handel, Bach, Bernstein, Part. In May of 1997 AZM and its conductor were awarded the title of People to People International Cultural Ambassadors.
