Donna Hopkins with
the US Dept of State,
Office of Mine Action Initiatives and Partnerships,
came down from Washington, DC
to join us to discuss landmine awareness. This is part
of a plan to develop a project for January of 2004 to
create a series of events in the Grove and around
Miami-Dade County to stimulate landmine awareness and in
particular the situation of our neighbors in Central
America. |
