Thanks to everyone who stopped by and picked up posters. We
had a wrap up meeting of all the participants and the Festival
is going to be really exciting. Watch for a schedule coming
out in your local Community Newspaper, also see
www.sflag.org. |

Here is a heads up on some stuff! |
|
[1] There will be a mini VIP reception at the
Galerie Rive Gauche at the Commodore Inn at Commodore Plaza from
7:30 –9:30 pm. The Nocturnal Club will sponsor this reception, as
their new nightclub will not be ready by Jan. 23rd. There is limited
space available so you need to email me and I’ll get back to you if
space is available.
[2] The Big Bash will be at
Opium, the fantastic nightclub on South Beach from 9:30 until.
There will be food, drink and dancing compliments of Opium until 11
pm. You can stay on thereafter on your own dime. We will have a bus
for Grovites at the
Galerie Rive Gauche. Bring your friends along to this one and
experience Opium, 136 Collins Ave. Miami Beach tel: 305-531-5535 if
you need directions. The party is in their
Garden, just say
you are from SFLAG. |

Another great Round Table
in the Garden came and went.
At 7:00 p.m. Floyd Cox was at the Jazz Piano
8:00 p.m. Dan Robey, "The Power of Positive Habits" (see
below)
On the piano in the house, Freddy Lopez, classical piano and
Dan Robey, blues acoustic guitar, Bobby Ingram, guitar and vocals
(and anyone else who wanted to joined them). |

Dan Robey, a
native Miamian who for many years was a part of the Miami
music scene as a classic rock band guitarist and band leader.
Dan, during the late 70s, was with the "Break of Day" band
playing at Big Daddy's around the State.
Today he has the
number three best seller on Amazon's book list and is
traveling the country promoting his book and spreading the
word about the power of positive habits.
