Five years ago, when Elizabeth Steward visited last, we were in dire straits. In five years are situation has improved. Our buildings are renovated and the children now live in smaller bedrooms (3-4 children per room) instead of large rooms.

We also offer many more extra curriculum activities for our children, for example, field trips, this one to St. Petersburg.

We also now offer an opportunity for our children to excel in sports. We have regional champions in track and field - boys and girls. Physical activity is very important.

We offer art classes, sewing classes, computer classes and more.

We attempt to use all contemporary forms of education. We attempt to give each child an opportunity to mentally and physically become a completely independent individual. This is not an easy task considering our and the circumstances of our children that brought them to our boarding school.
